Implied odds and reverse implied odds explained

Implied odds you calculate the chance of winning more money later in the hand. Later in the hand the situation could be better or worse. Pot odds don't take this into consideration.

Implied odds is the difference how much you think you gonna win if you make your hand and the cost to play it.

Reverse implied odds is the difference between the total sum the pot can be and the cost to stay in.

One important factor behind implied odds is how difficult your hand is to read another is how big the coming bets are. The last factor means that implied odds is more important in no-limit and pot-limit than in fixed limit.

One example of implied odds:
If there is $12 in the pot and it cost $4 to call on turn and your pot odds is 3-1.
If you make your hand you gonna win and you think your opponents will stay in all the way.
If you not make your hand it will cost you $4 but if you make your hand and you think you can get $4 more from your opponents then the total win is $16 ... then your implied odds is 4-1.

Reverse implied odds:
If you sit on a table with $1-$2 no limit holdem and your opponents has $20.

One players raises to $4 and you have 67  then it is not wise to call. The most you can win is $20 from any of your opponents. Your implied odds is 20-4 or 5-1.

But if everyone at the table has $1000 then you could call with a hand like that if you belive in your ability to read your opponets.

Why ?
The pot you can win make it worth calling this preflop raise.
Your implied odds can make it worth calling with hands like above ... but if you don't read your opponent right then you can also loose your hole stack.
